History is alive in Hardy, where the rich cultural heritage of the area is celebrated every day.

Visit the History Fence and see a timeline of Hardy painted on the wooden boards, stroll the historic downtown area or take in a festival that celebrates the history of the region.

Each fall, Hardy celebrates its heritage with Homesteaders Day. Area residents present a "day in the life" of Hardy area pioneers with demonstrations, activities, traditional games, music and food. The town also celebrates Native American heritage with the Turtle Island Annual Pow Wow. The town is also home to the Good Old Days Vintage Motorcar Museum on Main Street. With over 60 vintage cars and motorcycles from days gone by, the museum also has collectibles, t-shirts and memorabilia.
